The Atlantic Sailfish is one of the most acrobatic billfish and typically puts on an incredible tail dancing show. The best time to catch and release a sailfish on Florida’s Treasure Coast is November through January. It is not unusual to have multiple hook ups and to catch and release several Sailfish per day in season. The average size sailfish weighs in between 50 and 75 lbs.
